In My Mailbox #7

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, and it's an opportunity to show off all the books we've gotten!

I do my IMMs every other Saturday. Here are the books I've gotten the past two weeks. I was supposed to be on a book-buying ban, but A Perfect Blood came out and I had to buy it! It was The Hollows, guys. So I kind of bent my ban for that.

From NetGalley
Struck by Jennifer Bosworth
Monument 14 by Emmy Laybourne
The Book of Blood and Shadow by Robin Wasserman
Witchful Thinking by H.P. Mallory
Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer
The Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer

Bought (oops)
A Perfect Blood by Kim Harrison (review)

Free on Amazon
Six Moon Summer by S.M. Reine
All Hallows' Moon by S.M. Reine
Exiled by M.R. Merrick

From the library
Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz
Nevermore by Kelly Creagh
Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi
The Prague Cemetery by Umberto Eco
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson
Come In and Cover Me by Gin Phillips
Third Grave Dead Ahead by Darynda Jones

I have a problem. Every time I go to the library saying "I'm only going to pick up that one book I requested!" I end up with five or six. But they're so pretty and I want them!

My friend Jen sent me these adorable monster bookmarks!
If you like them, Jen has a contest over at her blog where you can win some of your own!

  4. Those bookmarks are so adorable! I rarely use any, but I think I'd start just to see those haha.

I can't wait to read Struck! I'm on an ARC Tour of it so I canceled my NG request, but now I'm impatiently waiting! I look forward to your thoughts on it. And I have the same problem at the library, I always insist on going to JUST the hold shelf to get what's come in...and then somehow an hour later I've finished perusing all the shelves and my stacks grown higher and higher. It's a real problem.

Check out what's in my mailbox

I love your comments! I try to respond to them...eventually!

This is now an award-free blog. I love and totally appreciate that you thought of me, but I know myself better than to think I would be organized enough to pass them along, and that doesn't seem fair.
