KORI DANIELS is a shadow-walker, able to travel instantly from one shadow to another. After weeks of confinement for betraying her boss, she’s ready to break free of the Tower syndicate for good. But Jake Tower has one final job for Kori, one chance to secure freedom for herself and her sister, Kenley, even if that means taking it from someone else…

The job? Recruit Ian Holt—or kill him.

Ian’s ability to manipulate the dark has drawn interest from every syndicate in the world, most notably an invitation from Jake Tower. Though he has no interest in organized crime, Ian accepts the invite, because he’s on a mission of his own. Ian has come to kill Tower’s top Binder: Kori’s little sister.

Amid the tangle of lies, an unexpected thread of truth connecting Ian and Kori comes to light. But with opposing goals, they’ll have to choose between love and liberty….

I loved Blood Bound and even though I'm a little sad that this book isn't from Liv and Cam's perspectives, I'm excited to learn more about Kori and how she got where she is. Plus, the world is just amazing, and I'm sure there's more to learn!

  1. I still need to read the first book! I love Rachel Vincent and have heard great things about this series.
    My WOW

  2. I am behind..need to read book one..awesome pick!

  3. Darn it, there's just something about Rachel Vincent's writing that doesn't work for me. I tried reading book one and gave up after about 20%.
I can't stop staring at the cover, though.

  4. I fail so bad, I haven't even read the first one yet. ._. But soon! I finally have it and can't WAIT to give it a try:)

I love your comments! I try to respond to them...eventually!

This is now an award-free blog. I love and totally appreciate that you thought of me, but I know myself better than to think I would be organized enough to pass them along, and that doesn't seem fair.
