It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

"It's Monday! What are you reading?" is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Completed
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder (re-read)
Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews (re-read)
My Soul to Lose by Rachel Vincent
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins (review)
Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher (re-read)

Pick of the Week
I prefer to pick a new book, but since I had so many great re-reads this week...
*Kate Daniels, Codex Alera...Kate Daniels, Codex Alera*
I legitimately cannot make this decision. I love both series too much. So, a tie between Magic Strikes and Furies of Calderon.

Currently Reading
Academ's Fury by Jim Butcher

What are you reading?

  2. Oh my goodness, Poison Study is one of my favourite books, and Masic Strikes! I've just started reading the Kate Daniels series, and serious LOVE.
I ordered Anna this morning! SQUEE! Oh, seriously, what a wonderful Monday!

Oooh, I've only read Storm Front by Jim Butcher. I'm interested in his fantasy series. Will have to look it up :)

  3. I'm very curious about Poison Study.

I've never read anything by Rachel Vincent, but her titles show up a lot around the blogosphere.

    Enjoy your week!

  6. I'm a huge fan of anything written by Ilona Andrews - both series. Great dialogue in all of their books.

  7. I adore both Ilona Andrews and Jim Butcher! They're such great writers, and I'm glad other people have discovered them too! Mardel - yes, the dialogue is absolutely amazing, especially between Kate and Curran! They're wonderful :)

I actually wasn't a huge fan of Anna and the French Kiss, for those of you who mentioned it, but that's more because it wasn't really my type of story.

I love your comments! I try to respond to them...eventually!

This is now an award-free blog. I love and totally appreciate that you thought of me, but I know myself better than to think I would be organized enough to pass them along, and that doesn't seem fair.
